Original WWII US USAFWESPAC Patch.  The United States Army Forces, Western Pacific was established on 7 June 1945, with Headquarters at Manila, Philippine Islands, with the mission of providing a unified command and administration, training and support of American forces in the Western Pacific area, units originally placed under the control of the Western Pacific Headquarters. Very Good condition.

    "Symbolism: The twin thunderbolts represent ground and air forces breaking the chain enslaving Europe during World War II. The thunderbolts form the letter "V," the "Victory" symbol, common to both the British and United States forces.     On a blue oval, a white cloud with blue star above a blue thunderbolt, within a red thunderbolt striking down and breaking a gold chain, all within a green border.
