Original WWI Austrian entrenching tool as issued to Austo/Hungarian troops during the First World War. These "Spaten"  were also issued during WWII to some German soldiers after Austria was absorbed in to the Reich, as well as many former KuK armies such as Hungry, Bulgaria, Yugoslavia, and Romania that fought along side the Germans on the Eastern front. Used, in serviceable condition. All have some light surface rust on the hardware. Because of the size and weight of a Spaten there is an additional shipping cost of $3.99.  Often times we ship the Spaten separately.
