This is excellent quality and a good price.
I ordered one size larger than my suit jacket size and this was the right call. When it arrived, I put my wool Feldbluse on and then the coat over that and it was a snug fit. I'm 6'3" and the coat is the right length in the sleeves and comes down well over my knees, midway down my legs. Buttons are good quality and sturdily sewn on the garment, so for once I won't have to reinforce them before wearing it. The leather has the look of having sat in a warehouse for 60 years without the mold or put another way, has the look of having seen more than a few parades-- so the slightly distressed texture/look is totally authentic without looking phony. Overall very pleased.

Asewsome coat for all occasions |

You do not have to be a reenactor to appreciate this coat. Superbly tailored and good looking, it is a great piece of apparel suitable for wearing in winter for all occasions: Family reunions and Battle of the Bulge reenactment alike. The shipment was swift and the customer service was simply outstanding. The coat comes labeled in European sizes (Euro 48 = US 38). So if you have ordered size 40 and the coat label says 50: DO NOT PANIC. Try it over your uniform jacket. You will be amazed.
