This Erel cap was made in Germany for a recent film about the final days of the Third Reich.  This cap is one of many variations of caps worn by the German Führer between 1934 and 1945.  This hand crafted cap features authentic hand embroidered gold bullion wreath and cockade embroidered directly to the brown velvet cap band.  The crown of the cap is made of Feldgrau gabardine  of the finest quality with gold wire piping with a gold bullion national eagle.  The cap is satin lined with a leather sweat band and Erel markings.  The cap is finished off with a golden chin cord and a natural leather visor.  Available in Size 58 (7-1/4).

Calculating Your Correct Hat Size.

To calculate your metric (European) cap size a measurement of the head circumference should be taken in centimeters. This is best achieved by passing a cloth tape measure around the head. Alternatively a piece of string may be used and measured against a ruler or tape measure. It is important that this measurement is taken where a hat would normally rest. To take a measurement position the tape measure or string so that it rests just above the brow at the front of the head, touching the top of the ears at the side. Pull the tape so that is taught but not too tight and take a measurement.

Hats are sized to the nearest whole centimeter so it is advisable to size up if your head falls between two measurements.
