| Original WWII German military gas mask in unissued condition. Every Soldat was issued and carried a gas mask. These WII issue masks have been stored in NATO stocks since the end of WWII. M38 masks are molded in fieldgrey (1st model) or black (2nd model) rubber with a metal alloy respirator snout. All have original web and fabric covered spring straps, buckles and hooks. The metal alloy eye socket frames and snouts are painted either fieldgrey (1st model) or anti magnetic blue (2nd model). Rubber and metal parts are all wartime dated. Lenses are clear and intact. The masks bear all original German maker codes and wartime dates. There is a postwar danish stamp that can be easily removed if desired. Masks are in excellent condition and come complete with one unissued Fe41 filter. Because of the way these are packaged we can not offer a choice of size or model. |
