| Pre-war Greatcoat worn during the invasion of Poland, France, Russia and even used to the end of the war by all German ground forces. Coat is made of extremely authentic, high quality wool and features a Bottle Green collar. It is a double-breasted with 12 original buttons, French cuffs, two curved flap front pockets and raw edge hem. The back has the full length pleat which ends in a long central vent that can be closed by four small buttons. The belting arrangement across the back, combined with two small button tabs on the outer back give the illusion of a triple back pleat. The lining is made of the correct grayish brown cotton linen twill and all 20 buttonholes are the correct "corded keyhole" type. Buttons and loops on the shoulders allow for the appropriate shoulder straps to be attached |
