Early War Aluminum band liners for Transitional and M35 Helmets. These are the most exact, hight quality reproduction M31 German helmet liners available today. These are custom made in Europe and manufactured just like the originals including the maker "D.R.P. SCHUBERTH WERK KG 1938" size and date stamp. - German WWII helmets combat helmet shells and liners were produced in seven sizes. German liners do not adjust like US helmet liners. The sizing system for German combat helmets is based on the shell size (circumference) of the inside of the shell. These were generally issued in sizes: 60, 62, 64, 66, 68.
- The liners have an outer and inner band. The outer band corresponds to the helmet shell, the inner band corresponds with the head size: 52, 53, 54, 55, 56, 57, 58, 59, 60, 61. Outer bands normally accommodate 2 different inner band sizes (see size chart.) Liners will not fit in helmets with a smaller shell size then the outer band size.
- So, if you are purchasing a liner for your helmets, YOU MUST KNOW THE SHELL SIZE to get the correct liners.
