German Low Boots with hobnails. They are probably the best reproduction German combat boot on the market today. These leather ankle boots come complete with hobnails and heel irons. They are rough-side-out leather like original issued boots and can be dyed either black or brown.

Note to customers: These are originally sized in European (metric) sizes and they run large. Because of the many discrepancies between sizing systems and the differences between manufacturers, it is never a good idea to buy shoes based solely on these conversions. We have listed the measurement of the inside of the shoe heel to toe and list in centimeters and inches, buyers should measure their feet to compare and choose the correct size.

The right boot fits very nice, however the left boot fit is too loose.

Very low quality bottom	December 26, 2011

I bought this about a month ago and have worn them twice so far for hiking. The visual of the boots were fine. But after two hiking outings, a boot lost a hob nail and the bottom of the boots are falling apart already. The heels have a several layers of wooden (more like hard cardboard) type materials and the first layer (held by a several nails) is separating from the rest revealing the metal heel. Not only that, the soles are separating from the upper.

I don't know how much longer I can wear these boots. The reproduction is very close to the original WWII German ankle boots, but the durability and the construction are very terrible.

Excellent Quality.Good fit. Follow the instructions on measuring your foot from heel to toe and you're good to go. Can't beat the price.
