- overall Well made with good detail. - I was a little surprised this was not cast in the semi-hollow back style with actual Aluminum metal -is Aluminum more expensive? instead the maker used a thinly plated silver dipped finish over a thickly cast Brass -as the German had to use brass for shell casing, the brass base metal, if exposed creates a very inauthentic look, unless your a General ! - I simple resprayed my metal LW breast eagle with several coats of Krylon aluminum colored paint, followed by several dull coats - the pinback mounts were sturdy (& thankfully NOT the thin safety pin type as often found. - Recommended - mainly based on the overall appearance
