Description   The Submarine badge (U-Bootkriegsabzeichen) was institued in 1939 to recognize all officers, NCO's and crew who served on submarines in combat operations against enemy forces.  Criteria for the award specified that the Salior take part in at two separate sorties.    This is an excellent quality die struck reproduction.
