New wooden helmet display stands for your German helmets. The materials are solid walnut for the top plate, oak for the support post, and cabinet grade 3/4" birch plywood for the Iron Cross shaped base. The two counter-bored assembly screws are hardened steel and have a combo square/phillips drive head. This means the unit can be stored/shipped flat. The finish is all hand-applied--not sprayed. Oil based paint, oil based wood stain, and padded-on polyurethane for the stained wood parts. Total height is 15", and can be easily cut shorter by the customert. The base is an 8" square with felt pads to protect furniture.
