Originally I was mistakenly sent what I thought was a magazine pouch rather than a 1 Qt Canteen Pouch. I contacted Hessen right away via email and waited a couple of days for a reply. Rather than a reply, they just sent me the correct item. I was expecting an aggravating RMA number to authorize a return/exchange but instead they just took care of it asap! Awesome customer service! The canteen pouch was not surplus, but was new mfr. It was sturdy, rugged, and the materials and workmanship were practically indistinguishable from actual flek military-issue surplus items I already own.
