The Combat Sport Pin of the National Peoples Army (Kampfsportnadel der Nationalen Volksarmee) was a non-governmental award of the National People's Army of the German Democratic Republic (GDR), which on 1 June 1966 by the National Defence Minister Heinz Hoffmann was introduced. Their ceremony was set on 15 November 1968. The Successor of Combat Sports Pin was the military Sportabzeichen the National People's Army. This is the highest level in Gold. Used but in very good condition, pin-back. The rectangular needle is 26 mm wide and 12 mm high.

  • Award conditions:
    Only concrete ceremony prerequisite was the possession of the GDR Sports Badge in silver or gold. The Combat Sports Pin was available to all soldiers, NCOs and officers who met the conditions for earning the Pin in one year. These disciplines consisted of:
    Storm track or 30-km forced march
    Grenades throw
    MPi or pistol shooting
    The awarding of the Combat Sport Pin took place at a unique ceremony in bronze, with two-time silver and three-time fulfillment in gold.
