If you appreciate quality, then you will appreciate German Army (Bundeswehr) clothing. There is no sense that the "lowest bidder" got the job here.
The German uniforms of WWII inspired many countries to adopt similar styles in their own armed forces. One can easily see that this cap is a direct descendant of the Afrika Korp model - just as functional and just as good looking.
