When I first saw it and how it was packaged in the box, I had imagined it would be a lot larger but it really is a great size: 65 liters. Most hiking backpacks that are 65 liters are around $100 or so so this is a decent price. New, great condition. MIL-TEC labled. Pocket on the top of the top flap, 2 pockets on the side, velcro for a name tape on top, one draw string cover on the top followed by another right beneath it. Inside is a special sleeve pocket with which you can fit a Bundeswehr folding sleeping pad with which makes it a frame for the ruck. There is also a zipper on the bottom to open the bottom of the bag. Comfortable straps with buckle straps to help secure it to you. I can fit lots of stuff in there. I have yet to use it in the field but look forward to it.
