Original, current issue Bundeswehr combat goggles made by Bolle, Europe's premier goggle maker.  The Defender goggle is specifically designed for use with helmets. The lightweight, flexible, PVC polymer frame includes special side attachments for a universal fit for any helmet. Soft face hugging foam provides a well fitted, comfortable seal. Defender goggles provide superb eye protection in tactical, safety and outdoor environments.  The frame also has a double groove allowing for simultaneous use of 2 lenses for added ballistic protection or the use of laser or colored lenses. The washable face foam is 8 to 10 mm thick and the 2.2 mm polycarbonate lens is anti-fog coated on the inside and anti-scratch coated on the outside.

The black nylon strap is 45 mm wide and is made with a special silicon rubber coating to prevent slippage. It is approximately 47 mm long and and has an elastic extension of 140 to 160%. Bulprene foam aerators are built into the frame to filter out dust, provide even air flow and reduce fogging.  The lens is a single layer of 2.2mm thick polycarbonate that has been treated with an anti-fog coating on the interior and an anti-scratch coating on the exterior. Optical quality is a perfect grade one. Strap: The adjustable black strap is constructed of nylon fiber. The width of the strap is 45cm and the length is approximately 47cm. The strap provides extension of 140% to 160%. Special inside treatment of silicon rubber prevents strap slippage. There is a slide release buckle that allows you to clip the strap closed behind your head or helmet.

These goggles come complete with a cotton carrying pouch with a drawstring closure.  Currently issued to German soldiers.  New, in excellent condition.
