These are fantastic! If you want the best for your A-frame look, go buy a $30 bag. If you want something that looks good around camp that you can put either period items in, OR to hide modern items, these are a God's send. I purchased three, and use them for tacticals to put demolition items in (part of a Pioneer unit).

Let's be honest - An assault frame bag is not an item that should cost $50, or even $35, as they do from some sellers. This will work just fine.

economy version is ok, leather is economy-grade, no maker marks, hardware feels durable, construction is basic but seems appropriate for wartime. great starter or loaner.

Nothing wrong with this for the whole huge $3.00 that I paid for it. Will work perfectly for storing misc items.
